Are you an experienced Tech Lead, looking to transform global healthcare through new and innovative digital solutions? Behind the title As a Tech Lead for NN Planner, you will shape, develop, and drive digital solutions implementation in Product Supply, ultimately addressing some of the biggest business opportunities we have at [xxxxx]. You will join an established cross-functional scrum team (Product Owner, UX/UI Designer, Frontend, Backend, Tester, and Data Engineers, and Scrum Master). The team delivers solutions to our Product Supply area, specializing in optimizing overall efficiency across the production sites in [xxxxx]. We do this using a tech stack consisting of AWS PaaS services, containerized Python backend and a frontend web application using React. Our application currently has 4000 users and will be double that this year. Your main responsibility will be to:
  • Drive and build value-driving and innovative digital solutions from the ground up (greenfield software development) with a user-centric approach
  • Proficiently manage technical and business stakeholder relationships
  • Advise and drive decision making through effective communication
  • Explore new technologies and tools to apply during the development of these solutions
  • Lead, guide, and mentor software developers on the team
  • Prioritise your work with the team and its product owner, weighing both the business and technical value of each task
  • Experiment, test, try, fail and learn all the time!
    • As a technology choice, we are primarily using the AWS stack with Python and React, and are building full end-to-end digital solutions using cloud and CI/CD pipelines. As we are pioneering the digital transformation of [xxxxx], we expect you to challenge and encourage the organisation as well as take part in establishing a strong internal community to share knowledge and takeaways. What we scout for To be successful in this role, you should come with a strong understanding and hands-on experience within broad software development i.e. within system architecture, coding for scale, communicating possibilities about what can be built and maintained, as well as love to experiment and build MVPs. In addition:
  • You have 10+ years’ professional experience and will likely come from a similar position
  • You know Python in and out and consider it one of your top programming languages and
  • You have solid experience with AWS Cloud, especially around PaaS service offerings, and multi-layered architecture.
  • You possess proficiency in SQL, encompassing database design and optimization, supported by extensive experience
  • Familiarity with Frontend Development using React or comparable frameworks is advantageous
  • You are passionate about development and could have a presence on GitHub or other OSS platforms with publicly available code that will help us assess your skills
  • You should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant field
