The job:
As Hub Inventory Planner for our Laboratory Products Division, you will work closely with our Manufacturing and Warehouse teams to manage the flow of inventory (such as pipettes, bottles and other plastic consumables used in a laboratory) from initial order placement on to our manufacturing sites, through to our warehouses and on to our customers. You will keep our customers (both internal and external) updated on warehouse inventory levels, manufacturing lead times and order status, plus track the status of product shipments and deliveries. You will be a key part of our global supply chain and will be critical to ensuring timely manufacturing and delivery of orders and, as a result, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
This role sits within our Global Supply Chain team for our Laboratory Products Division, based at our Roskilde site in Denmark. You will work collaboratively with a range of internal colleagues based globally, including the Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, Commercial and Finance teams.

What will you do?
- Define the parameters for the Hub location and maintain master data
- Define the inventory position on hub location in alignment with central inventory controlling
- Define the supply chain setup at hub level, e.g. MTO vs MTS vs MTF in alignment with the site production planning team and the central inventory controlling
- Communication to customer care on lead times and order status (internal customer, external via customer service)
- Communication between regional hubs on status of internal shipments
- Finished Goods Inventory Health (E&O, MOQs, SS)
- Drive FG Inventory, Back-Order and OTIF delivery metrics
Who we are looking for: (experience, skills & abilities)
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- Several years’ Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning or Hub Planning experience essential, ideally within Life Science or Medical Device industry
- CSCMP or comparable certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience in ERP/MRP planning systems, including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement, with specific emphasis on SAP ECC, EWM and APO
- In-depth knowledge of inventory planning/purchasing systems
- Strong understanding of concepts of inventory management, flow and distribution planning
- Highly proficient in data analytics, data manipulation and reporting to satisfy daily inquiries on inventory, capacity and product availability
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)
- Customer service focused
- Fluent in English and at least basic Danish essential
