Tech-up - Winning Customers
In March 2021, BEC launched an updated strategy – TechUp Winning Customers – to sharpen our focus on customers and deliveries. BEC aims to be the best scalable IT service partner, building trust and straightforward banking for the Danish society. This is to the benefit of the BEC banks, and in a broader context for Denmark, reaping the benefits of reliable and innovative financial technologies and banking services.
In this position, you will join the division Finance & Strategy and head up the newly established transformation office in BEC, which will consist of a small team of highly skilled employees with expert knowledge and the capabilities required in an international FinTech company. You will be based at our HQ in Roskilde and report to the Head of Finance & Strategy, who is also a member of BEC’s executive team.
Primary task and responsibilities
The area director will enter BEC in a key position responsible for the transformation office and be part of the division management team. The area director will collaborate closely with the senior management team in BEC, peers, and relevant internal and external stakeholders. The transformation office is responsible for defining transformation initiatives, driving, and tracking changes and managing roadblocks.

We are looking for a highly experienced transformation office executive with a substantial track record from similar positions - preferably within the financial sector.
Ideally, we are looking for the following competencies and experience:
Candidates for the position must hold a relevant education at master’s level and have a high proficiency in Danish and English both in writing and orally.

- Post implementation of new organization & new operating model
- Culture and leadership – including ensuring transparency on decisions and results
- Delivery overview to customers and internally – steering and implementation of activities
- Nearshoring activities – integration and development
- New financial model – overhaul spending, time registration, budget, and target procedures, etc. into a sensible planning cycle that covers activities and finance
- Value-proposition and pricing model
- Risk Framework
Best-in-class transformation office executive
We are looking for a highly experienced transformation office executive with a substantial track record from similar positions - preferably within the financial sector.
Ideally, we are looking for the following competencies and experience:
- Leadership capabilities – proven track record of leading high-performance teams ensuring continuous development of employees with clear roles, responsibilities, and processes
- Substantial track record of leading an efficient transformation office – preferably with insight in the financial sector in Denmark
- Highly experienced in driving and tracking large transformation initiatives
- Proven stakeholder management capabilities including strong communication skills and the ability to engage in dialogue and strategic direction-setting with senior management teams
- Understanding the requirement of delivering in a community setting and ability to navigate and thrive in this environment
