Join our dynamic team at bec, a leading organization dedicated to ensuring trustworthy data and information in the financial sector. We are currently seeking two passionate and proactive individuals to work as data quality and governance specialists.
At our friendly office in Roskilde, you'll collaborate within our Data Architecture & Governance team, impacting data governance and quality management while supporting data stewards across various business domains.
Position overview:
As a data quality and governance specialist, you will be responsible for spearheading efforts to optimize data quality management and governance, influencing cross-organization initiatives. Your role involves implementing data quality processes, standards, and reporting frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring transparent roadmaps. With a focus on change management, you'll drive improvements in our technical data quality platform, ensuring consistent and accountable governance practices.
At bec, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week.

- Spearhead efforts to enhance data quality management and governance
- Implement data quality processes, standards, and reporting frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparent roadmaps
- Drive improvements in the technical data quality platform and its measurements
- Secure consistency in critical data elements under governance
- Formulate and implement necessary accountability, standards, and processes within the organization
- Collaborate effectively with customers (banks) and internal teams
To succeed you will have:
- Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, or related roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and simple manner
- Proactive problem solver with a "go do" attitude, motivated to drive initiatives forward
- Fluent in English and Danish (written and spoken)
- Experience in agile ways of working and data stewardship (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of data ethics, data classification, data catalog, and enterprise risk management (nice-to-have)
