With direct reference to our Head of Core IT Services, you will become a part of a growing Operations Team consisting of seven highly skilled and dedicated it professionals. The team is constantly optimizing and improving Kamstrup IT systems aiming for consistently high stability and security in an international organization that works around the clock. The team is part of Core IT services, that provide Kamstrup employees with IT globally.
A job with focus on operational aspects of vulnerability management
In the newly established position as Security Engineer you will play a key role in providing ongoing improvements to IT security in Kamstrup. This means that you will be responsible for different IT systems related to logging, scanning and monitoring of Kamstrup’s IT landscape with the sole purpose of uncovering, evaluating and correcting vulnerabilities. It is expected that you actively generate ideas for improving the systems and infrastructure. You will of course be collaborating with other highly skilled colleagues to make this happen.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
Personality matters
We are looking for an talented and outgoing Security Engineer, who is proactive and able to challenge the organization to ensure the best solutions. You either have a background in enterprise operations as an experienced System Administrator with a keen interest in IT security otherwise you have an education within IT security combined with experience in the security field. As you will work within a very diverse technological field, you must possess a broad understanding of IT technologies coupled with technical skill and insights into IT operations on an enterprise level. Ideally, you have one or more of the following certifications or similar: CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+.
Experience or knowledge with several of the following technologies will be an advantage:

- Ensuring external partners delivers input and reports on vulnerabilities
- Kamstrup’s own logging and security tools
- Managing outstanding vulnerabilities and ongoing corrective actions
- Lead the identification and implementation of technical and organizational solutions to vulnerabilities
