Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our solutions and focus massively on the development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. Therefore, we are looking for a Demand and Forecasting Manager to support and develop our operational and master planning to accommodate this increased demand.
With direct reference to our Head of SCM Logistics, you will become a part of Kamstrup’s SCM Logistics team which consists of 14 dedicated employees. The team has a broad range of operational and development tasks ranging from Production Planning, S&OP, Operational Purchasing, Shipping, Warehousing and Logistic development.
A job with focus on securing efficient demand- and forecast processes
In the newly established position, you will be responsible for developing our demand- and forecasting processes across Supply Chain. In the position you will have a broad contact surface, as you will collaborate with both SCM Logistics and our sales organisation in order to transform sales knowledge into a precise forecast, which can ensure valuable and effective decision-making across the whole of Supply Chain.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:

Personality matters
We are looking for a quality-conscious Demand and Forecasting Manager who can draw from previous experience to contribute to the further success of Kamstrup. We expect you to have at least 5 years of experience from a similar position within Supply Chain with a broad knowledge of demand and forecasting models.
You thrive in an outgoing role with a broad contact surface, and you possess excellent communication skills why you can manage different stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You have an analytical and structured approach to your work, and it is natural for you to work with data and have a focus on detail. Furthermore, you have a solid understanding of supply chain management and the end-to-end trade-offs.
You are fluent in both written and spoken English. Danish will be an asset.

- Operating the Demand Planning process in S&OP
- Developing the Demand Planning process
- Optimizing statistical forecast models and mastering the discipline of “non-statistical forecasting”
- Conducting inventory analyses, including inventory development, slow moving stock etc.
- Other ad hoc analyses across Kamstrup's value chain
