Become a part of the Technology department in Kamstrup

As our new Test Specialist you will become part of our development department for communication technology, where we develop and maintain embedded products for automated collection of data from Kamstrup energy- and water-meters. The department consist of 23 dedicated colleagues, who works towards a goal of creating innovative solutions of high quality. We are typically working in smaller teams across projects and product families, and have interdisciplinary sparring as a natural part of everyday life.
A job with focus on delivering high class quality
In the position as Test Specialist, you will be a part of securing Kamstrup as leading supplier of metering solutions for electricity, heat and water internationally. You will be part of a small team with the responsibility to develop test-frameworks and continuous integration pipelines, which will support our development teams during embedded SW development. In addition to the development of the test frameworks, you will also take part of implementing testcases for automated regression testing on component and sub-system level.
More specifically, your primary tasks will consist of the following:

We are looking for an ambitious and professionally skilled person with a solid theoretical foundation as a Software Engineer, Electronics Engineer or similar. As a person, you take pride in delivering professional solutions in high quality. You are good at creating an overview and are open to new ideas, but at the same time you have a methodical, analytical and structured approach for the planning and execution of your tasks. In addition, you value collaboration highly, and will contribute to the team with your professional competencies. You do your best and challenge yourself and your colleagues for continuous improvements. As an open minded and outgoing team-player, you understand that the best results are always achieved in close collaboration with your colleagues.
You have experience with test-methodologies, automated test-systems and software development. Furthermore, experience with the following will be considered as an advantage:
Finally, it is a requirement that you both speak and write Danish and English fluently.

- Take part in various project-oriented development processes, from requirement definition to product release
- Define test-specifications based on requirement-specifications
- Software development for automated test-systems
- Software development of testcases for the automated test-systems
- Development and maintenance of automated continuous integration pipelines
- Close interaction and co-operation with our embedded development teams
