Therefore, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to support the business on the future growth journey with data automation and visualization.
With direct reference to our Head of Business Intelligence, you will become a part of a growing team of dedicated colleagues responsible for operation and development of Business Intelligence in Kamstrup. Together, we strive to provide an excellent support and data analyses that enables data-driven decisions in the business. We work closely together with the business to understand their needs and develop new solutions and are today already harvesting the fruits of having done an early investment and empowerment of the BI team meaning that our foundation is on the forefront of BI journeys in Danish corporations.
A job with focus on excellent visualization and storytelling with data
In the position as Business Intelligence Specialist, you will together with the team be responsible for continuing the development of high-quality and data-driven insights that will help drive our business. You will get a large contact network where you will act as the link between the business and our back-end Business Intelligence. You support the business with visualization of data in form of reports, dashboard, analysis, improvement activities primary in Power BI.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Clarifying needs and possibilities for reporting
• Maintain, develop, test and document data models
• Build visualization solutions in close collaboration with the business
• Support to 1.000+ users
• User administration

As a person, you are excellent at creating relations across the organization and you thrive in an outgoing role. You can relate to our customers’ needs and turn this knowledge into great solutions. You are structured and good at keeping the overview in a busy work environment with more ongoing projects. You are curious by nature and like to try new tools and ways of solving a challenge and you dare to ask the critical questions that challenge our way of working.
You are graduated within Business Intelligence, IT, Engineering or Business Administration with your theoretical toolbox in place. You have minimum 2 years of experience within Business Intelligence, analytics, data automation, visualization, and reporting. In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and DAX (potentially expert in similar front-end BI tools)
• Knowledge of SQL and data modelling (interest in backend an advantage)
• A good understanding of systems and data flows
• Ambition to engage on a steep learning curve
It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently. Danish is an advantage.
