With a direct reference to Head of Manufacturing Technology – Components, you will become a part of a highly skilled team. Together we work with different production engineering related tasks – from process performance improvements to capability increase according to our business strategies. The team is a part of a new organizational setup made to enhance our impact within production processes in an effective manner. Our functions and efforts can be felt throughout Kamstrup in the areas involving the manufacturing of components which deliver into the finished product assembly factories.

A job with focus on technical management and continuous improvement
In the role as PT Engineer, your main responsibility will be to instigate and lead the necessary initiatives to improve our electronics manufacturing methods in order to support our expected outputs and ensure high-end quality products in an effective manner. Furthermore, you will work cross functionally with supply chain, product management and technology in order to secure the operational process stability within the required capabilities – from integration of new products/variants to ensure the best release when going into mass production.

More specifically, you will be working with the following:

  • Production process stability (DfM, FMEA, SPC, SOPs, Maintenance, Risk management, control plans etc. )
  • Product performance within process windows and capabilities
  • Product quality and long lifetime reliability
  • Line stability and performance according to availability and expected cycle times
  • Investment projects to either introduce new technologies or increase capacity outputs
  • Quality assurance

Personality matters
We are looking for a dedicated PT Engineer, who is ready to take on an important role in the continuous improvement of our intelligent metering solutions. We expect that you have a background in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering combined with 3-5 years of experience from a similar role or have held a leading technical role supported by experience from an electronic manufacturing environment. Experience with projects involving new product introduction and/or new equipment introduction will be considered an advantage – as well as working experience with IPC/JEDEC standards and six sigma tools.

As a person you are an excellent communicator who can interact with many stakeholders across of our organization. You understand the meaning of building trustful relationships, and you are not afraid to take control while managing to encourage people to follow you. You have a mind for detail and a structured way of working towards a root cause analysis when issues occur.

In addition, it is a requirement that you master English on a high level - both orally and written. Danish will be an advantage.
