Both the challenges and the possibilities in R&D are great, and that’s why we’re looking for an experienced, pragmatic and interculturally adept Master Sound Tuner, who can help take GoerDyna’s R&D in China to the next level.
As our new colleague you’ll be employed in GoerDyna, which is a subsidiary of Goertek, which in return is the mother company of Danish-born loudspeaker manufacturer, Dynaudio.

As our new Master Sound Tuner your mission is of course to support our purpose. Specifically towards our automotive segment. Your main responsibilities therefore include:

You’re a success in your job, when you’re able to integrate marked trends and customer demands in our own audio/auto setup with help from our colleagues in an attempt to push boundaries and still maintain our special Dynaudio DNA.
YOUR COLLEAGUES
You’ll be an integral part of GoerDyna’s growing Research & Development in Weifang, China, and you’ll work closely with Chinese and Danish based colleagues to ensure our customers’ satisfaction. Currently, we’re more than 40 colleagues in R&D in Weifang.
You’ll be based in China and report to Jianxin ‘Corel’ Wang (王建新), who’s General Manager in GoerDyna, but the first 6 months of your employment your main work station will be at Dynaudio’s HQ in Skanderborg, Denmark.
In Denmark, you’ll train with Dynaudio’s sound tuners, acoustical engineers and mechanical engineers to master the ‘Dynaudio’ sound. You’ll therefore initially join Dynaudio’s R&D: Automotive department consisting of 16 colleagues.
YOU: THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
The perfect candidate does not exist, but ideally you have 10+ years of experience as a Sound Tuner within the automotive industry.
Specifically, we imagine you have countless hours under your belt with DSP tuning of acoustic products, Klippel listening tests, development of driver units, Thiele/Small parameters, car amplifiers etc. This experience and a continued drive will help us succeed with our projects.
Taking responsibility for the tasks at hand therefore also comes naturally to you, and you excel in teamwork, as we need to utilize each other strengths to fulfill own and customer expectations.
Other than that, we expect you be familiar with ANC and ATMOS and be acquainted with the following systems:
English is our main company language, so you’ll need full professional proficiency. If you have professional Danish or Chinese proficiencies, it’s a big plus.

You’ll take on a highly needed and cooperative job in an international company with close Chinese-Danish relations and brand new state-of-the-art R&D facilities at GoerDyna in Weifang in the coastal province of Shandong.
At GoerDyna and Dynaudio you’ll work closely with skilled colleagues from all over the world representing expertise in different relevant fields and you’ll get the chance to influence the company’s development with your enthusiasm and input.
You’ll also have a chance to listen to the music you love on some truly amazing speakers (including getting the opportunity to buy them at a pleasing discount), and even get to see behind the scenes on how they’re made, tested and designed in-house at our factory.
Salary is negotiated individually at a level that corresponds to the job requirements and your qualifications.

- tuning, testing and subjectively evaluating Dynaudio Automotive audio.
- system designing Dynaudio Automotive audio projects.
- supporting acoustical issues of the whole vehicle system.
- communicating with customers and presenting Dynaudio's technical solutions.
- presenting vehicle sound effect systems for customers on site.
As secondary tasks you'll be responsible for
- assisting in coaching and managing R&D and customer teams.
- assisting in power amplifier technical evaluation.
- keeping up with market demand.
- participating in the sound algorithm design of China teams and Danish teams.
