With a direct reference to the Core Support Manager, you will become a part of a dedicated Incident Management team consisting of 8 colleagues. Together we have a key role across Kamstrup’s technical stakeholders such as Developers, Hosting specialists, Product Managers to deliver the best support and solutions to our customers. The team is responsible for Incident and major incident management, knowledge management, and troubleshooting in general. The culture in the team is characterized by us being a diverse group of specialists with different backgrounds, tapping into many different departments in Kamstrup in our effort to solve the Incidents or make sure they are taken care of while ensuring knowledge capture when we find new solutions.

A job with focus on delivering world class support
In the position as Core Support Engineer you will be responsible for delivering qualified 2nd level support on our solutions across of our business areas. In addition, you will be working on taking actions on escalated incidents from customers by solving them or coordinating escalations throughout Kamstrup stakeholders.

More specifically you will be working on:

  • Incident management
  • Knowledge management
  • Using your knowledge on lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Assessing incoming incidents and escalating these if necessary

Personality matters
We are looking for a Core Support Engineer who has a structured and analytical skillset and a curious personality to deliver world class customer support. We imagine that you have a technical background within IT, electronics, mechanics or similar. You have +2 years of experience in 2nd level support of hardware and/or software as well as broad IT knowledge which has given you a great understanding of ITIL process framework, infrastructure, application support and troubleshooting skills.

As a person you are curious why you excel in getting familiar new products and services once they are introduced to the market. You thrive with a never-ending learning curve. In addition, you are open to new ideas while having a methodical, analytical, and structured approach to your tasks. You are outgoing by nature and master the art of creating relations both within and outside the organization
