Become the Manager of our Application Support Team in Solution and Service Delivery

The demand for global expansion and complex solutions has set new expectations for our team and potentially you, as our new Manager, as Application Support bridges Kamstrup’s software development function with software application and operations. With direct reference to our Head of Global Operations & Engineering, you will become a part of the Global Operations & Engineering department, where you will become our Manager for a growing, energetic, and competent team of IT architects, DevOps Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Database Administrators. The team is highly specialized in supporting Kamstrup's unique software and tasks towards transforming the way of operating by utilizing the strengths of DevOps, CI/CD, micro-services approach and tooling like GitLab/GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Data Platform, etc.
A job with focus on team leadership and driving the technical development of Application Support
In the newly established position as Manager for Application Support, you will be responsible for a team of dedicated employees. To succeed in the role you ensure well-being, capability development, motivation, and talent growth while acting as a filter for the team and managing resources to fit projects. Furthermore, your primary task is to secure the Application Support function, including the continuous development and maturation of tasks and projects. This also means driving projects, being an anchor of steering groups, and leading dialogues with other departments and stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for different strategic initiatives as our Automation Strategy and Production Readiness Review are anchored in the department.

Personality matters
We picture, that you hold a degree in IT or Software Engineering and have at least three years of experience with managing a team.
It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge of some of the technologies below:

You possess strong communication skills which enable you to clearly communicate directions and information to your team and stakeholders. Furthermore, you like to take responsibility and want to make a difference by challenging the status quo and optimizing processes.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
