Alongside we continue to grow our focus on Quality and Sustainability specifically and to support this we are looking for a Health & Safety Specialist who can help drive and support Kamstrup in continually improving our health & safety culture and performance in a global context.

You will become part of the Quality & Sustainability department whom are 35 employees and more specifically be working in a small team of 3 who has an overall cross-functional role for Health & Safety across Kamstrup. With help from the surrounding organization, the objective of the team is to define, drive and implement the health & safety culture & processes across Kamstrup including related initiatives such as maintaining certifications.

A job with a focus on health & safety culture & performance
In this newly established position, you will be involved in creating and maintaining our health & safety culture, risk management, workplace assessments as well as incident management, including continuous improvement and reporting. Furthermore, you will be involved in performing periodic legislative reviews and audits and hereby ensuring legal compliance.

More specifically, your tasks will be:
• Giving inputs to health & safety strategy as well as operational safety improvement targets and KPI’s
• Reviewing, improving, and preparing health & safety standards across Kamstrup
• Finalizing and maintaining our health & safety risk register(s) to ensure we continually register measure & manage our risks in effectively
• Monitoring and ensuring legal health & safety compliance across Kamstrup
• Managing our global incident Management setup incl. professional support to the health & safety organization in root cause investigation, corrective action implementation, and follow up
• Continually identifying, planning, and implementing health & safety projects both regarding physical as well as cultural aspects.

Personality matters
You have a relevant bachelor’s degree and in addition, you have at least 5 years of experience within the field of health & safety. We expect you to have experience on both tactical as well as operational levels with incident/accident management as well as a proven track record of developing and implementing safety standards such as ISO45001.

It will furthermore be an asset if you have knowledge or experience with some of the following:
• Health & safety training incl. behavioral based health & safety awareness
• Health & safety legislation as well as practical implementation of requirements
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and apply statistics to problem-solving
• Audit experience as a lead auditor within ISO45001 or similar
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and IPW Systems.

As a person, you pride yourself in being able to establish trustful and open relationships across the organization. You are driven by the passion for continuous improvement as you see possibilities rather than restrictions. It comes naturally to work analytically and structured, ensuring that you can execute them accordingly.

It is a requirement that you master English and Danish both written and oral.
