We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to support the corporation on the future growth journey by providing data-driven insights that links to our strategy. Today we are already harvesting the fruits of having done an early investment and empowerment of the BI team meaning that our foundation is on the forefront of BI journeys in Danish corporations.
With direct reference to our Head of Business Intelligence, you will become a part of a growing team of 4 dedicated colleagues responsible for operation and development of Business Intelligence in Kamstrup. We have a strong colleagueship and prioritize job satisfaction and personal, as well as professional development, and support each other when we face challenges. Together, we strive to provide excellent support and data analyses that enables data-driven decisions in the business through close collaboration with the organization.
A job with focus on excellent visualization and storytelling with data
In the position as Senior Business Intelligence Specialist, you will support the business with high-quality and data-driven insights, while you act as the link between the business and our back-end Business Intelligence. You will support the business by being a valued sparring partner for Business Partners and Report Owners while you provide examples, suggest new functionalities as well as show data which can provide new and value adding insights. Furthermore, it is your role to challenge current assumptions and make sure that the business has the best possible data foundation to use in decision making.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:

As a person, you thrive in a role with many different interactions during your day and you easily build strong relations across the organization. You can relate to your stakeholders/users’ needs and turn this knowledge into great solutions. You drive governance by being structured and are good at keeping the overview even when you work on several projects simultaneously. Furthermore, you always follow a best practise approach and have a good understanding of systems and data flows. You are curious by nature, like to try new tools and ways of solving a challenge and naturally ask critical questions and find ways to improve ways of working.
There are many entry points to this position e.g., from roles in Finance, Purchasing or Supply Chain, however the most important is that you have at least 5 years of experience in working with Power BI (or similar front-end BI tools), Business Intelligence, analytics, data visualization and reporting and can show a track record of supporting business development through data insights. Furthermore, we imagine that you have the theoretical foundation from an education on bachelors or masters’ level.
In addition, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of SQL and data modelling and previous experience from a larger production company.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.
