Kamstrup’s business is undergoing rapid development, which means that the requirements for our smart metering solutions targeting the electricity industry are growing. Therefore, we are looking for a Solution Manager to be part of our Technical Product Management team in the Electricity division.
With direct reference to our Head of Technical Product & Solution Management, you become part of a team of 9 dedicated colleagues. The background of the team covers a wide field from very technical profiles to others with a more commercial and strategic focus and background.
Our products are a combination of electricity meters and software solutions to collect, present and analyse data from the meters.
A role in the intersection between customer needs and Kamstrup’s solutions
As a Solution Manager you will be working with technical sales in close collaboration with product management, sales, bid management and our electricity customers. It is important to bridge between the customer requirements/needs and the products, services and solutions that Kamstrup can offer now and in the near coming future. Furthermore a Solution Manager must build and maintain an understanding of the market needs and report this back to the organization.
You will be responsible for defining the technical solution that will meet the customer expectations. This can be in direct sales involving customer interaction or in larger tender processes, where you will be part of a team creating the winning proposal for the customer.
More specifically, your primary responsibilities will be to:

Personality matters
Most likely you are a recent technical graduate with ambitions to work in the intersection of technology and sales. It is essential that you have a distinct commercial understanding and can combine this with your knowledge of technology and digitization to create winning solutions and proposals. As a peron you able to inspire others and you are able to work productive and structured.
The job requires fluency in spoken and written Danish and English. Other scandinavian languages as well as German will be an advantage.

- Answer technical requirements in tenders
- Design technical solutions based on our product portfolio
- Present and demonstrate our solutions to customers and other sales support
- Participate in delivery projects to support the delivery team in delivering the solution you have designed
