Therefore, we are looking for a new Platform Engineer who is driven by continuous improvement of our Kubernetes platform.
With direct reference to our Head of Application Support, you will become part of our team which consists of 9 skilled colleagues with various backgrounds such as IT Infrastructure Architects, Platform Engineers, Database Administrators, DevOps Engineers, and a Graduate. Our team is the backbone of our digital transformational journey towards working with modern and microservices architecture. It is a growing and motivated team responsible for providing the platforms for our development teams and designing the infrastructure specifications. The team is characterized by a transparent culture and high ambitions, where good collegiality, diversity, knowledge sharing, and sparring is highly valued.
A job with focus on developing and optimizing a globally scaled platform
As our new Platform Engineer, your main responsibility will be to manage and mature a globally scaled platform, built on Kubernetes (maintained by our vendor) where you also design and build infrastructure specifications. Your focus will revolve around simplifying the workflow for Kamstrup developers, enabling them to create and deploy high-quality software more effectively. Therefore, you will play a key role in streamlining the process of transforming innovative ideas into production-ready solutions. Additionally, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our Internal Developer Platform capabilities, which are integral to our engineering operations.

We are looking for a proactive Platform Engineer who can lead project journeys from start to finish. We imagine that you have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field combined with 3 years of experience working with designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters. It is an advantage if you have experience with Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and Configuration Management
Furthermore. it is a requirement that you have experience with:

- Focusing on maintaining processes to ensure continuous deployment, vulnerability mitigation, disaster-recovery control, FinOps and compliance alignment
