Our customer, Danapak Flexibles A/S (part of the packaging group adapa Group) is a significant player in the global market within flexible packaging for e.g. pharma and the food industry. As an innovative supplier of high-quality packaging there is also a strong focus on establishing efficient methods for developing new packaging.
In a newly created position, you will be responsible for implementing the HS strategy and principles of Danapak Flexibles + Group. Including working for the 0-accident culture in the company and contributing to an international collaboration in the adapa Group. Your tasks will include influencing any process that affects the safety in the organization of production and the rest of the company. In addition, the task will be to facilitate and support security improvements.
You will become the company’s “driver” in actions on HS ensuring that HS conditions become a natural priority with the right focus among supervisors and employee groups in general. You implement initiatives, conduct information-meetings, initiate proposals for training in the area, prepare procedures and are responsible for ensuring that conditions in, for example, the working environment area are complied with. You interpret the wording of the legislation and convert this into useful local procedures.
You are the robust profile that have the clout and ability to prioritize and act forward-thinking. You have a prere-quisite for success in ensuring that the organization has increased understanding of HS initiatives and act as a player in the implementation
You coordinate and communicate effectively in friendly manner. Have Having an enthusiastically open mindset, a clear communication, you meet your colleagues at eye level. In the role of “driver”, you take responsibility, are proactive and follow up on things.

The job:
In a newly created position, you will be responsible for implementing the HS strategy and principles of Danapak Flexibles + Group. Including working for the 0-accident culture in the company and contributing to an international collaboration in the adapa Group. Your tasks will include influencing any process that affects the safety in the organization of production and the rest of the company. In addition, the task will be to facilitate and support security improvements.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the production manager and the organisation in all matters related to HS
- Incident follow-up and implementation of corrective actions
- Further develop HS procedures and best practices in on-going production
- Identify and establish necessary HS training for the organisation
- Ensure internal assessments of hazards and risks
- Communicate SE-related questions to the organization
You will become the company’s “driver” in actions on HS ensuring that HS conditions become a natural priority with the right focus among supervisors and employee groups in general. You implement initiatives, conduct information-meetings, initiate proposals for training in the area, prepare procedures and are responsible for ensuring that conditions in, for example, the working environment area are complied with. You are expected to:
- Possess a relevant education in HS, e.g. as an engineer in bio or chemistry
- Having min. 2+ years of experience with HS and preferably from similar function
- Being persistent and focused at actions and solutions focused
- Bring along solid IT skills as well as fluency in Danish and English in speaking and writing
