Today, we are looking for a new InMarket Manager to manage processes and projects related to product life cycle management planning and execution. The position is in our headquarters in Smørum, close to Copenhagen. You will be part of our newly established Portfolio and Program Management group in Demant’s Commercial Organization and report to the Director of the InMarket Portfolio. We work across our four hearing instrument brands: Oticon, Phillips, Bernafon, and Sonic and closely with Product Management and other commercial functions to ensure that the product portfolio is the most competitive and cost efficient.
In InMarket, we are a small team that manages projects related to the launched portfolio. This includes initiatives to increase top line, optimise cost as well as handle issues as they come up in the field. We do this in close collaboration with Operations (e.g. Production and Supply Chain), Procurement, Quality, Global and Local Sales as well as various Commercial functions. Projects are initiated and driven from the InMarket team, but equally so initiated by other parts of the organization to ensure business optimization and regulatory compliance. We have furthermore a close cooperation with colleagues in other countries. And last, we also ramp down products and product families as part of portfolio optimization.

Taking care of our product portfolio
Overall, you can look forward to the following tasks and responsibilities:
• Leading projects and processes to drive InMarket portfolio optimization, e.g. cost optimization initiatives and improvements within the areas of quality, operations, and sourcing
• Supporting business decisions through data insights and quantitative plus qualitative assessments of commercial opportunities
• Representing commercial in a variety of task force activities and projects
• Pruning of existing hearing instrument brands, accessories, and replacement parts
Your backpack
You have about 2-5 years’ experience with project management, for example, from within product or business management and potentially also have experience working in a matrix organization. You are data driven and have either experience in this field or come with the right motivation to execute. Overall, you have an analytical mindset, can structure your work, drive results, and enjoy a combination of strategic and operational/ tactical work. Furthermore, you thrive best by working cross functionally and enjoy being close to business decisions, have a strong commercial mindset and good communication skills. Last, you are pro-active and ready to reach out to others.
You have a relevant educational background within Business, Engineering, Marketing or similar and are proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) as well as fluent in written and spoken English.
