Student Assistant – Global Planning
Do you want to help us deliver on our key tasks in the Global Planning Team? Are you passionate about analytical frameworks, and used to work with data? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you in Demant at our headquarters in Smørum.
Who are we?
Our Global Planning Team is looking for a student assistant to support the team with various analytical tasks, while keeping track of action plans and ensuring they are up to date. The Global Planning Team is involved in numerous tasks of varying nature across a global supply chain and is looking for a student with a strong analytical mindset, to prepare and present analysis that relates to forecasting and demand planning.

Key responsibilities
Demant is preparing for a future with increased supply chain complexity, which requires focus on tasks such as:
- Ongoing analysis of demand development by region
- Measurement of forecast accuracy on item level
- Trend analysis
- Allocation of production volume based on geographical commonalities
The nature of the tasks will vary with some being ad hoc and other reoccurring on a monthly or quarterly basis and can extent to other topics such as inventory management and production/capacity planning.
The increased supply chain complexity is a key topic for the Sales and Operations Process in 2021, and you will be actively involved in the implementation of new initiatives to successfully manage this.
Are you our new colleague?
We expect that you are studying a relevant bachelor or master’s degree in supply chain management or in a related field and be at least a few years into the program. As a person we expect you to be open minded and eager to drive best-in-class operational performance through analytical insights.
The ability to work independently with large data sets in Excel is considered a prerequisite, together with a fluent oral and written level in English.

We are looking for a colleague who can support the team about 2 days a week. We are flexible regarding your study plans and you will work from our headquarters in Smørum.
