Manager to Executive Support & Corporate Strategy in Demant

Demant is looking for a Manager in Executive Support & Corporate Strategy to work with our corporate strategy and do various assignments for the executive management.
Demant’s purpose is to create life-changing differences through hearing health and to offer innovative solutions and services within hearing healthcare and audio solutions.
The company consists of five business areas, which define and execute their individual business strategies. Demant is the parent company that supports the business strategies by defining and executing the overall corporate strategy and ambition.
The job
In this role, you will work closely together with our CEO, CFO, the VP of Executive Support & Corporate Strategy and with business area presidents and provide strategic and analytical support for and sparring with the executive management on various short- and long-term objective of the business. The tasks are diverse and different by nature.
You will handle Demant’s corporate strategy initiatives and coordinate overall strategic initiatives. You will ensure that the initiatives are progressing according to plan and that new ones are developed and tracked. You will participate in and contribute to Demant’s overall strategy discussions and execution.
You will become part of Demant’s Corporate Functions, which – apart from Executive Support & Corporate Strategy – consists of Group Legal & Compliance, Corporate Communications & Relations and Investor Relations, which together constitute a dedicated team of people working on Demant’s many important agendas.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
• Drive the follow-up on our strategic project portfolio, by primarily ensuring ongoing focus on synergy initiatives between business areas and/or functions.
• Participate in corporate strategic projects as defined by the executive management and the VP of Executive Support & Corporate Strategy.
• Proactively support and assist in driving Demant’s annual wheel on corporate strategy, including the alignment of corporate processes with business area processes.
• Participate in the planning of strategy meetings and annual top management conference.
• Support the executive management by preparing presentations.
• Write strategic input to our Annual Plan and Budget, Annual Report and other narratives, e.g. preparational material to the Board of Directors.
You will be based at our corporate headquarters in Smørum on the outskirts of Copenhagen, and you will report to the Vice President of Executive Support and Corporate Strategy.
About you
You have an education on master level with excellent academic results. You have a couple of years’ experience e.g. as a consultant from a top-tier consultancy within strategy or management and are ready to move to the client side. Perhaps, you already have some experience in supporting C-level executives.
You possess the following qualifications:
• You have a strategic mindset. Preferably combined with operational or commercial insight.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent at turning ideas and complex concepts into simple and easily understood PowerPoint presentations or prose.
• Networking comes naturally to you, and you are skilled at interacting independently with key stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and excellent communicator in English – both in writing and orally.
• Proactive approach, strong drive and a can-do attitude, seeking opportunities and identifying solutions
