Analyst for our Competitor Insights Department
Do you want to be part of a highly engaged team, transforming data into insights for a broad audience of internal stakeholders globally? Do you have experience within the field of audiology? And do you have a passion and a drive for being up to speed on competitors and their offerings in the market?
The Team
We are an energetic team with our eyes on the ball trying to make an impact on Hearing Aid Wholesale Business in Demant. We have an open dialogue and having different points of view is very much encouraged to enable as strong an output as possible. The team is part of Portfolio & Program Management and together with our sister team – Customer Insights – we make up the insights team. Currently the team consist of 3 team members with different backgrounds. We keep a keen eye on competitors, collect data on competitors, analyze and feed the organization with relevant insights regarding competitors and enable an outside perspective.
Frederik, Head of Competitor Insights, describes the culture as; “open, forthcoming, and flat, which enables good discussion and sharing of knowledge. The level of experience and knowledge about hearing care is vast, along with the desire to help and improve people’s hearing”.
Your impact
You will have a valuable impact on Demant’s Hearing Aid Wholesale based on insights and your role will be to ensure and continuously push an outside-in agenda throughout the organization in a motivational manner.
You will become a part of a newly established Customer & Competitor Insights Team reporting to Head of Competitor Insights and by joining the Demant family, you will contribute to a life-changing difference for people worldwide.
Main responsibilities
- Being responsible for putting together the Selling Against material going out to wider internal audience across the organization, from sales representatives to sales managers and marketing colleagues in headquarter
- Understanding and analyzing competitor products and service offerings and how they compare to similar offerings from Demant
- Building and maintaining working relationships across an organization like Demant from R&D to sales representatives in the countries
- Being good at presenting in a clear and concise manner, also in a time of working remotely via Teams and Zoom
Professional background and personal competencies
- A Master’s degree in Audiology, Business administration or Engineer
- Experience from the hearing care industry is an advantage
- Strong project manager and ability to drive projects
- A commercial understanding is beneficial
- A positive and engaging mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills – ability to work effectively with and across all levels of a global organization
- You are fluent in English, written as well as verbally
