The Team
In Silicon Engines, we develop the chipsets used in our hearing instruments and accessories. We strive to deliver technological leadership through state-of-the-art innovative silicon solutions, featuring world-class performance in DSP processing, audio quality, connectivity, AI, and re-chargeability in smallest size and lowest power consumption.
We are 80+ engineers in the department, we use state-of-the-art tools, methodologies, and technologies, and have end-to-end chipset development capabilities.

The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining a strong project management discipline in Silicon Engines. This regards processes, planning, reporting, project management best practices, dashboards, and relevant KPIs and metrics. You will be managing a team of senior project managers, who are responsible for our chipset platform deliveries.
We are organized around agile (scrum) teams and use agile development principles in our project execution.
You will also be responsible for the chipset strategy and roadmap process in Silicon Engines. Through collaboration with architects and lead developers in Silicon Engines, and a large group of stakeholders across the company, you will define our chipset technology strategy and maintain a ten-year outlook and aspiration for our chipset platform – including features deliveries, technology migrations, and innovations. You will be involved with scoping and initiating concept and innovation activities to ensure technological leadership.
One of our key leadership principles is “we are outside-in”. This means we focus on understanding the landscape around us - our customers and end-users, general technology trends, our competitors, and suppliers, and we use such insight in driving our innovations and roadmap strategies.
This is a new position, so you will have great opportunity to influence the role and the direction for this new group. You will be responsible for formulating the vision in your area, defining what is expected, build the team, and drive world class project execution excellence and long-term platform strategy.
Professional skills
Your project management toolbox is filled with state-of-the-art tools, training, and experience from many years of managing complex projects in complex environments.
You have a strong technical background and 10+ year of experience working with advanced technology.
