Senior DSP Engineer for Hearing Aids Development

We welcome you onboard our dedicated and highly skilled Core DSP Team, which is part of the Audiological Solutions group within R&D. We are frontrunners in our business and develop advanced audiological solutions for our future hearing aids. Innovation means everything to us, so your ideas and input are really appreciated. Besides that, we have a fantastic working environment with a lot of flexibility and a low hierarchy. We work in an agile setup, and in your daily work, you will be part of a SCRUM team with 6-8 team members.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Development of audio/signal processing features and algorithms for Hearing Aids
- Idea generation and innovation projects for new signal processing
- Feature architecture, implementation and verification
- Technical Marketing support for new DSP features
- Prototyping of new concepts
- Post development support for DSP related features

About you
You hold a M.Sc. in Engineering with a strong background in DSP and signal processing. You have a proven track record with algorithm design, simulation tools and tests within the audio domain. More than that, you can probably tick off many of the following competencies:
- Strong background in digital signal processing
- Experience within audio processing and product development
- Knowledge within one or more of the following areas will be a plus; noise reduction, directionality, feedback management, echo cancellation and acoustics
- Experience working with Matlab, Simulink and/or Python
- Knowledge of good software practices, such as software design and test-driven development
- Familiar with Windows or Linux development environments
- Knowledge within Machine Learning will further be a plus
As a person, you would describe yourself as someone, who works well within teams and likes technical challenges. You possess strong communication skills, both orally and in writing and appear to be systematic, structured, and analytical. Furthermore, you are motivated by dealing with numerous stakeholders and collaborating closely with your team colleagues in a dynamic environment. You should be open-minded, self-driven and inquisitive, challenging solutions and ideas. You are comfortable with seeking the optimal solution through a constructive dialogue with others.
