Engaged analyst for our Competitor Insights Team
Do you want to be part of a highly engaged team, transforming data into insights for a broad audience of internal stakeholders globally? Do you have experience within the field of audiology? And do you have a passion and a drive for being up to speed on competitors and their offerings in the market?
The Team
We are an energetic team with our eyes on the ball trying to make an impact on Hearing Aid Wholesale Business in Demant. We have an open dialogue and having different points of view is very much encouraged to enable as strong an output as possible.
We are part of the Portfolio & Program Management and together with our sister team – Customer Insights – we make up the insights team. We keep a keen eye on competitors, collect data on competitors, analyze and feed the organization with relevant insights regarding competitors and enable an outside perspective.
The team is newly established and reports to Head of Competitor Insights, Frederik, who describes the culture as; “open, forthcoming, and flat, which enables good discussions and sharing of knowledge. The level of experience and knowledge about hearing care is vast, along with the desire to help and improve people’s hearing.
Currently our team consist of 3 team members with very different backgrounds, but the same engagement and values and we prioritize to meet for lunch every day. Also, you have lots of opportunities to meet with colleagues across the organization, professionally, in spinning classes, the wine club or after work at the go-kart track”.
Your impact
You will have a valuable impact on Demant’s Hearing Aid Wholesale based on insights and your role will be to ensure and continuously push an outside-in agenda throughout the organization in a motivational manner. Your main responsibilities
- Deliver customer and competitor insights supporting the development of stable roadmaps with a 3-year horizon
- Be ambassador for an outside/in mindset focusing on delivering strong customer, value chain and user experiences
- Be part of establishing a center of excellence regarding market data and analytics in order to drive better prioritization and decision making
Analyzing and deliver competitor insights including a strong understanding of future needs and competitor launches, to support the build of competitive and predictable multi brand roadmaps, requires the following skills:
Your professional background and personal competencies
- A Master’s degree in Audiology, Business administration, Engineer or UX
- Capabilities to run to drive projects on your own
- Strong stakeholder management skills – you get energized from building long term relations at all levels of a global organization
- You are fluent in English, written as well as verbally – Danish is an asset, but not a must
- Experience from the hearing care industry can be an advantage
- Commercial understanding is beneficial
You can be newly educated or have 1-2 years of experience working with insights, but the most important skills are a positive and engaging mindset, natural curiosity on everything that you have not tried before and an openness to learn from your colleagues. You have an analytical approach but also thrive on changing the customer journey using data in an innovate way.
