Advancements in renewable energy and clean energy storage are dramatically changing the energy ecosystem, driving the needs for mission critical components, systems and hardware/software enabled solutions. Sensata Technology’s rapidly growing Clean Energy Solutions (CES) business unit designs and manufactures mission-critical, highly engineered battery management, power conversion and power control solutions for specialty mobile and infrastructure-based end markets. Our CES business unit is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of Battery Management Systems (BMS) with embedded software.

General Responsibilities
• Participates in all aspects of assigned programs throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
• Ensure successful and timely completion of project tasks and requirements in a timely and effective manner
• Monitor deadlines, budgets and activities
• Apply change, risk and resource management
• Resolve projects' issues
• Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction and team member performance
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
• Analyzing program risk
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

In this role you will lead and manage the development and implementation of BMS projects with embedded software, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide clear project management for cross-functional teams of hardware and software engineers to develop and implement BMS systems with embedded software, define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives while collaborating with senior management and stakeholders. Other responsibilities are:
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop and implement contingency plans as necessary;
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and external customers, ensuring successful and timely completion of projects;
- Continuously monitor and assess project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
We are looking for someone with an educational background in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 3-5 years of experience managing the development and implementation of BMS or equivalent electronics products. Strong understanding of:
- Embedded electronic system design, including hardware and software components;
- Managing cross-functional teams and working with external partners and suppliers;
- Proven track record of delivering successful embedded electronic systems or equivalent projects;
- Strong project management skills, including budget and schedule management;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Experience in project management in an Agile development is an advantage;
- Experience delivering embedded electronics for regulated markets would be beneficial.
