Automation Specialist at NNIT
Would you like to join our Automation & AI area adding to our highly skilled team of Automation Specialists?
It’s an exciting time for NNIT, we are placing strategic focus on automation and looking for experienced infrastructure specialists with an automation mindset and focus on process optimization.
As an Automation Specialist, you will be a key member of a team working with stakeholders across the organization delivering automation optimizations on a wide range of infrastructure technologies.
You will be part of the Automation team in NNIT
Being a part of Automation team, you will join dedicated and competent colleagues with varying professional backgrounds, which we leverage to share knowledge and experience to improve the quality of our work.
With primary focus on infrastructure and application services, the team supports all parts of NNIT, and you will get the opportunity to be contribute to automation initiatives with high management attention. You will collaborate with service architects, operations specialists and customer teams both within Denmark and across our global organization touching all customer segments.
As a trusted partner to our customers, we work with passion to deliver results and continuously explore new ways of adding value. You will be part of the NNIT culture with room for independent thinking and individual responsibility, grounded in the Nordic principles of openness, trust, honesty, and respect.
Your responsibilities as an Automation Specialist
Our automation tools portfolio is primarily based around the Micro Focus (formerly HPE) IT Operations Management Suite including Server Automation (SA), and Operations Orchestration (OO).
Your tasks will be comprised of two areas. Firstly, the team has responsibility for operation, maintenance and lifecycle management of our portfolio of automation tools. Guided by our automation architects, part of your time will be used to assist in daily operation, upgrades, patching, documentation and other platform lifecycle tasks.
In addition, you will work in both small and larger agile projects to develop new automation flows and solutions built on our existing platforms delivering tangible benefits to the rest of the organization.
Your qualification and experience
The most important attribute you will bring is your automation mindset, including an attention to detail which you have developed through your experience working with infrastructure automation.
The ideal candidate will have experience with some or all of the following:

- Deployment tools such as Microsoft SCCM or Micro Focus Server Automation (SA).
- Packaging and creating unattended software installation packages (Unix/Linux and Microsoft OS’s)
- Unattended installation of OS’s.
- Hardware environments such as Cisco UCS, HP, HP Cloudline etc.
- Virtual environments such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
- Master of one or more of the following scripting languages:
- PowerShell
- BAT/CMD
- Bash
- VB Script
- Java Script
- Python
- Runbook automation tools such as:
- Micro Focus Operations Orchestration
- Microsoft System Centre – Orchestrator
You must have good Danish & English skills both orally and in writing.
