Welcome to Ferrosan and our Manufacturing team
In Ferrosan Medical Devices A/S, we develop and produce a portfolio of hemostatic products to aid surgery minimizing bleeding challenges (Surgiflo®). Products are registered as medical devices (Class III) and are sold internationally to more than 100 countries. All main functions in the company are in Soeborg, Denmark, including our production facilities, so everyone sits door to door with easy access to each other.
Your new team will be Manufacturing, that currently counts approximately 100 experienced employees who produce all of Ferrosan’s products. You will, however, be working closely with a wider range of internal stakeholders across our company.
Environment, health and safety in a cross-functional role
As our new EHS manager, you can expect varied workdays – ranging from presenting our strategy to top management or assessing an incident, to planning accident prevention projects and talking to employees about their EHS issues. Thus, you can look forward to being involved in daily operations as well as strategic initiatives to further develop our sustainability program.
Specific tasks further include:
• heading up and continuously improving our EHS system across Manufacturing in close collaboration with managers and employees
• heading up the “AMO group” consisting of elected employee representatives and management representatives
• defining and reporting on EHS-related KPIs to management
• acting as project manager on a +15 m DKK investment project to upgrade our facility
• heading up EHS inspections

A strong communicator with EHS experience
As a person, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty – in the sense that execution is an immensely important part of this job. This sometimes includes calling an electrician and sometimes means preparing to assess a machine in a cleanroom. Furthermore, you have strong communication and people skills, allowing you to easily interact with stakeholders at all levels of our organization.
Moreover, we imagine that you have:
• An academic degree – we are very open to a wide range of backgrounds, as long as your experience and motivation are a match
• Experience working with EHS, preferable within a GMP-regulated environment
• Experience with and a motivation for working with sustainability
• Experience with stakeholder management
