We cover the entire value chain within wind and solar (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment of assets. As our new PV Design Manager, you will be part of our EPC department which handles all the engineering activities within our Danish building program and plays a focused role on the design for our international building programs. The PV Design team´s main responsibilities are to support the Project/Development department on the different project stages from Greenfield to Ready-to-Build, and later on EPC on the construction stage. We navigate between inhouse design, subcontractors’ design including multi-contracting approach where sub-contractor management is a big part of the daily routines.
The role
The right candidate is expected to have a wide experience on the design of PV Utility Scale Solar plants, supervising but also playing a creativer role on the design of the solar farms from early stage, on development phase with preliminary, planning layout, and finally being responsible for the construction design and relevant documentation.

Areas of responsibilities
- Participate in new markets setup regarding PV Design, understanding requirements based on regulatory and environmental requirements
- Validating and ensuring the right definition of constraints in coordination with developer & Project department as a base for the project design
- Performing & coordinating preliminary site assessments, analyzing the feasibility of technology (Inverters, substructure, etc) to support technology decision
- Participate in EPC continuous cost optimization work on design, installation and yield optimization
- Coordinate with other departments or external design partners in local countries on relevant design matters (Electrical, structural, civil, etc) affecting the final design of the PV plants
- Performing & coordinating Energy Yield Assessments
- Performing & coordinating preliminary SLD & SCADA/Monitoring Diagrams
- Creating bill of materials & auxiliary documentation to support the procurement department on the P.O. of equipment and materials
- Support in quality assurance standards and continuous improvements
- Support in standardizations, creation of templates and processes related to the PV Design tasks
Professional skills we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree on electrical engineering, mechanical or relevant engineering disciplines with a solid knowledge of the electrical design
- Experience coordinating Design Teams and or external consultants
- Minimum 5 years experience on utility-scale PV projects
- Solid AutoCAD skills with Layouts, Construction details and SLDs
- Background on PVsyst or similar Energy Yield simulations software
- Background on PV design software like PVcase is an advantage
- You speak and write English at a professional level
