At this position you will be part of our Surveillance & Mission Systems (SMS) Business Unit, dealing with Radar Systems, Naval Solutions, Wind Farm Solutions, Mission Solutions and Critical Infrastructure Protection.
The SMS business unit is growing to meet the demands of tomorrow. We need an experienced and motivated Director for the Naval and C2 department responsible for all projects outside of the domestic region. The position is located in either our office in Lystrup, Aarhus or in Søborg.
About the Naval &C2 department.
The Naval & C2 department consists of 10 highly experienced and skilled Project Managers and Application Architects. Our main task is to secure that our solutions are in accordance to customer needs and delivered within cost, scope and schedule. The two groups have just recently been merged into one team and one of your main tasks is to support the team in this transition and to help create the best conditions for success in this new set-up. We have a close collaboration with colleagues from other parts of the organization, especially within Sales, TEC, Production and as well with our Terma Support & Service (TSS).
The Position and responsibility
As director for the department, you will be responsible for executing the Naval and C2 strategy and assuring, in close collaboration with our TEC development department, that all delivery and financial goals are met. You will assure that ongoing optimization of our product and customer specific projects are being made. You will also do the ongoing coordination with Sales and give inputs to new potential project and possible optimized orchestration is key to succeed.
Together with our TEC department you are also responsible for the overall SMS resource demand forecast and assuring the demand is being met.
Our success is secured in close collaboration, and through stakeholder management, with our colleagues within Sales, TEC, Production and Technical Service as well as external suppliers, by ongoing dialogue and follow-up during execution of advanced technical projects.
The position will entail some travel and you should expect between 25-30 travel days a year.

Qualifications and skills professionally

- Solid management experience, preferably from managing a project office within a global organization
- Extensive project management experience within technical advanced customer projects
- An academic background with a bachelor / master’s degree with in electronic or mechanical engineering or similar
- In-depth knowledge and experience leading successful teams in a global organization
- Experience in managing team competencies and qualifications for upcoming projects, evaluating, and mitigating project risks and include stakeholder management
- Experience within the defense or security industry is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Experience in PMO execution and running a pipeline of projects with a detailed overview of resource demand and allocation of people for your project portfolio
