QA Specialist (1-year maternity cover)

QA Specialist to our highly well-functioning team
Do you enjoy working within quality and a great variety in tasks? If you have a quality mindset and you are looking for an opportunity to be part of a strong QA department, you do not have to look any further. We are hiring a QA specialist to a 1-year temporary position as one of our highly skilled QA specialists is on maternity leave.
We offer you a position with a great variety in QA tasks. You will support the organisation as quality expert and have an important role ensuring compliance at Ferrosan Medical Devices, so we continuously deliver world-class products used to stop bleeding during surgery.
You will join a team of 13 skilled and dedicated colleagues counting 9 QA Specialists, a Lead Auditor and 3 Technicians. Together, we contribute all the way from first receipt of raw materials to the finished products is released to the market. We are involved in daily operations as well as providing support for various projects ensuring compliance both internally as well as with our external partner and contract manufacturers. Your role - QA tasks and collaboration with multiple contacts
As part of a small company with R&D and production at the same site, you will have a broad and exciting responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our production and our external partners and contract manufacturers. Your primary tasks cover:
- Complaint handling
- Deviations and CAPA’s
- Change records
- Qualification and validation documentation
- Optimization of the Quality Management System
About you
You have QA experience from your previous roles, or you have just graduated and have a quality mind set and interest in quality work by nature. You want to join a dynamic company on an exciting journey where you will make difference. You like taking responsibility and you are ready to take decisions. Equally important is your pragmatic and collaborative approach taking necessary and fast decisions – we can only succeed as a team across functions and departments. Additionally, your CV comprises:
- A master’s degree within pharmacy, biology, engineering, chemistry or similar
- Experience from a GMP environment and/or ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820
- Good overall IT competencies – SAP experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite for applying
- Fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken

Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and produces a portfolio of medical devices used in surgical care. Our portfolio consists of various haemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. We are an international company with products registered in more than 100 countries. Our products are marketed in collaboration with global MedTech partners. New ideas are developed and matured from the first thought to finished implementation in production. And we manage the business with an uncompromising focus on quality based on current GMP requirements.
