Senior Commercial Analyst

Become a central part of the future Commercial Development team

Commercial Development is part of the New Business Development area of Ferrosan Medical Devices, where new product ideas and concepts are being developed. We support New Business Development and other areas of the organization with commercial assessments and support such as, business case development, pricing and forecast models, market trends and surveillance of current products, business intelligence, etc.

We are always looking for new and smarter ways of applying our data – and with your solid toolbox and interest in data management, we aim to take Commercial Development to the next level.

Your role

As Senior Commercial Analyst, you will take ownership of the market data that we receive from various internal and external sources and provide high quality assessments that will be used as baseline for strategic decisions. You will also:

  • Own market data and the development of business cases, commercial analyses and forecasts
  • Lead quarterly price forecast and support yearly strategic forecast
  • Develop commercial assessments for many different areas of the organization, incl. our management and board
  • Act as commercial lead for 1 or more of our innovation growth opportunities
  • Manage the communication with external data providers
  • Communicate and share date with strategic partners and customers
  • Lead the development and maintenance of our Business Intelligence setup

About you

We are looking for an experienced profile with a solid analytical toolbox. It is important that you have high interest in data management and business dynamics, as well as the ability to communicate/present complex information clearly. As Commercial Development is a small team, we have many overlapping activities It is therefore important that you are a team player, can lead cross functional activities and enjoy working on projects together with others. The role also requires:

  • A relevant Master’s degree within Business Administration, Economics or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience from a similar role and industry
  • Strong financial and analytical abilities
  • Experience building complex sales and price forecasts
  • Ability to assess and build solid business cases
  • Ability to work with many different functions – SCM, Finance, R&D etc.
  • Great English communication skills – both oral and written
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • A good eye for detail
