QHSE Specialist for renewable energy solutions (wind/solar/P2X)

You will be part of the Group Risk Management & Insurance department which currently consists of seven colleagues, located across four offices in Denmark and the UK. QHSE is a newly established team with three colleagues located in Aalborg, Støvring, and Rødekro – and we are now looking for our fourth colleague to be based in our office in Copenhagen.
We work closely on supporting the renewable energy transition. We want to do it responsibly and with dedicated commitment to follow the international, national, and local laws and industrial best practice. QHSE links together with our strategy of conducting responsible business.
As our new QHSE Specialist, you will be part of building up of newly established QHSE department, ensuring that we have all the necessary processes and policies in place to provide the best support to our organization in the development, construction, and operation of our solar, wind, and Power-to-X projects.

Your new team

Your new role
As our new QHSE Specialist, you will be part of building up of newly established QHSE department, ensuring that we have all the necessary processes and policies in place to provide the best support to our organization in the development, construction, and operation of our solar, wind, and Power-to-X projects.
Your main responsibilities
- You set the direction for QHSE in European Energy together with the rest of the team and establish the necessary policies and processes to get there.
- You support setting up QHSE gates in the European Energy project life cycle model.
- You establish templates and checklists and drive QHSE plans for the value chain.
- You coordinate supplier audits and assessments.
- You coach and train internal teams and contractors in QHSE excellence.
- You act as an QHSE ambassador for European Energy.
- You create measurable cost of poor quality (CoPQ) improvements.
- You support knowledge transfer to both existing and new markets outside of Denmark.
To thrive in this position, we imagine
- You have +5 years of experience working with QHSE for construction and engineering projects.
- You have a relevant educational background, e.g. Marine Engineer or Construction Engineer.
- You are a good communicator and relationship builder.
- You are fully proficient in English, and it is good if you speak Danish or other languages.
- You have experience in setting up QHSE management systems, DMS, and other relevant systems.
