Grid Integration Analyst to support with complex modelling for renewable energy projects
Do you have a background in Electrical Engineering and would like to join a green company with an important agenda? We are looking for our new Grid Integration Analyst, where you will support the core business with complex modelling and compliant design optimization for our large pipeline of renewable energy projects.
European Energy is a green company in exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. Our six core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.
As our new Grid Integration Analyst, you will be part of our EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) department which handles all the engineering activities of European Energy. Among these are ensuring grid connection agreements, providing grid compliant park design, optimizing park designs and achieving the final permits for power generation, that enables the parks to create green power and value.
The Grid Integration team is one of seven sub teams in EPC and consists of six colleagues located in Denmark, one located in Italy, and (soon) one located in Lithuania. The increased number of projects requires a higher number of colleagues to lift the tasks at hand and therefore, we are looking for the next colleague to the team.
As our new Grid Integration Analyst, you will become a part of an expert environment working with grid integration. You will be responsible for developing advanced simulation models required for obtaining the grid connection permit. Thereby, you will be ensuring the technical documentation required across our core markets, to obtain the final grid connection permits (EON/ION/FON) for our wind and solar PV farms. You will have an interface internally to various colleagues across departments and externally in relation to TSOs, DSOs, and consultants who assist on different matters.
As a person, you are a team player with solid interpersonal and communication skills. You are highly motivated to work in the renewable energy sector and you have a systematic approach to solving tasks.
European Energy is a Danish privately owned company founded in 2004. We are with all the way from development, construction, operation and selling of wind- and photovoltaic (PV) farms on land as well as on sea globally. Further, we work with the development of the future energy solutions, e.g. Power-to-X.
We are now more than 600 employees with 37 nationalities represented in 20 countries. We all work for our common goal to be the most innovative company within the green transition and to create The Power of Tomorrow, Today.
