Design & Development Specialist (1 year maternity cover)

Design & Development Specialist with focus on Design Verification
Your role
As a Design & Development Specialist at Ferrosan Medical Devices (FeMD) you will be responsible for Design & Development documentation within Design Control with particular focus on Design Verification studies. I.e., you will be highly engaged in proving safety and effectiveness of our products in a GMP/GDP regulated environment. Your role will include:
- Design Verification studies and performing DOE studies.
- Preparation of protocols and reports for development studies.
- Coordination of test study execution
- Preparation of design Control documentation.
- Problem solving, when technical solutions must be identified for e.g., materials and or product design.
- Participation on cross-functional projects.
About you
You have an academic background with a master´s degree within life sciences (pharmacy, human biology, chemistry, engineering or similar) and are interested in working in the Medical Device business.
You are a team player with strong professional and teamwork capabilities. You are comfortable with covering a broad area of responsibility with many parallel tasks and deadlines. You identify and analyse problems, state your conclusions, and propose solutions clearly and you can maintain the overview in a sometimes-dynamic environment, where decisions must be made.
In addition, your profile includes:
- Willingness to learn Design Control and in general you want to work in a GMP/GDP regulated environment.
- As a person, you are curios, self-driven with a “can-do” attitude who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-starting and collaborating personality and thrive in working with many different stakeholders.
- Strong oral/written communication skills in English.

Our portfolio consists of various haemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. New ideas are developed and matured from the first thought to finished implementation in production. And we manage the business with an uncompromising focus on quality based on current GMP requirements.
