Are you energized by complex problems? Do you have a structured approach to product discovery , and hold hypothesis-driven design and prototyping close to heart? Then come join our Digital Discovery team as part of Development Transformation and Insights in Novo Nordisk.
The job We are looking for a Strategic UX Designer to drive the discovery process and continuously identify user behaviour that will create business impact. You will be working as part of a small product team that aims to transform the way Novo Nordisk captures and acts on our data from clinical trials. The goal is to derive more actionable insights faster from our clinical trials, by introducing the latest technologies within databases, event driven architecture, microservices, and more. Once you and your product team have done the initial experimental discovery phase you will become the backbone of a bigger longstanding product team, implementing the solution. You will help bring best practice digital product development to pharma and collaborate on product decisions and experiments, early and frequently. Key Responsibilities Be a champion of driving user empathy in product discovery Collaborate closely with the tech lead and product owner Develop, own, and co-create an ‘Opportunity Solution Tree’ for the product Continuously test ideas with real users and customers to validate and refine ideas in sprints Use hypothesis-driven prototype insights as the primary canvas for communicating ideas
Qualification You hold a degree within Design, Digitalisation, Innovation, IT or similar 2+ years of experience within developing digital solutions Strong communicator with experience in navigating complex stakeholder environments A solid toolbox equipped with: Design thinking, user research methods, Agile principles, strategic business understanding to move from idea to design and to final implemented digital solution Experience with data products or data science is a plus Fluency within different design and prototyping tools (e.g., Miro, Figma,…) On a personal level you have an inclusive and critical mindset and bring user empathy to challenge the status quo into your interaction with stakeholders. You can set direction on strategic matters and communicate an engaging vision that is founded in the broader purpose of Novo Nordisk. About the department
As Strategic UX Designer at Development Transformation and Insights, you will be joining other Strategic UX designers, product owners and developers, data scientists etc. in catalysing the digitalisation and transformation of our drug development process.
