Together we are life-changing . About the department In R&D Compliance CoE we work with business & data ethics and data privacy. We are a team of specialists with different educational backgrounds who are responsible for governing and operationalising internal and external business & data ethics and data privacy requirements and support the global R&D organisation on how to mitigate compliance risks. The position As an R&D Compliance Specialist, you will have a broad range of responsibilities across the organisation and engage with many different stakeholders. You will be the subject matter expert for Business Ethics and compliance when engaging with Healthcare Professionals within the R&D organisation. Your key responsibilities: Provide advice and develop framework/guidance for our R&D organisation Identify, assess, and mitigate business ethics risks Drive Business Ethics compliance initiatives, implementation, and coordination across business areas Develop training material and ensure clear communication Participate in driving the R&D Business Ethics Compliance Coordinator Forum Responsible for parts of the Business Ethics compliance support set-up in R&D Function as local business ethics compliance for our R&D organisation (e.g. pre-approval of compliance deviation, exemption requests, Compliance Hotline cases reporting and processing, etc.) Collaborating globally with internal and external stakeholders and interacting with senior management in different business functions, including Business Ethics Compliance Office and the entire R&D organisation, you are expected to work both hands-on and at a more strategic level. Qualifications The ideal candidate has min 5 years of work experience in compliance/ business ethics Your educational background could be a master’s degree in business administration, law, commercial law, or any other relevant field It would be a great asset if you have life science industry experience but not a pre-requisite Experience in project and change management Tech-savvy, can comfortably navigate through different digital tools Proficient written and oral English combined with excellent communication skills As a person, you have a global and proactive mindset and the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new situations in a changing environment. You are a team player, open to sharing knowledge and learning with other colleagues and positively contributing to the work environment. You can collaborate and interact with teams across different levels and functions; capable of conveying complex matters to various stakeholders in a precise, understandable, and simple way.
