Product Owner to Regulatory Agile Release TrainAre you skilled in transforming business direction into concrete plans in a global organisation? Do you have a good understanding of the dynamics in the pharma industry, coupled with an innovative and curious nature? Do you have solid experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies?

The Position
As Product Owner for Centralised Translations, you will be responsible for driving, facilitating, and developing the features and backlog for your team within our Agile Release Train for submission processes. Your success criteria will be a well-founded team that thinks in user-centric digital end-to-end solutions to improve our translations processes across a greater part of our value chain than today.To lead digital products with impact, collaboration is essential, both with the line of business, product teams, and our IT organization.
You will work in very close collaboration with your Scrum Master, Product Manager, and the Business Owners in and around the Agile Release Train your team is a part of, as well as other areas within Development in Novo Nordisk HQ and affiliates.Centralised Translations is a part of our digital portfolio, but it can be so much more than it is today.
When submitting regulated content to agencies, to initiate clinical trials or seek marketing authorisation, we need to do this in many different languages globally. The Centralised Translations team work on processes and technology to solve this as efficient, consistent, and fast as possible, together with our translation provider. There are exciting plans and opportunities that you will be central in bringing into life.
Main responsibilities include:
• Execute as Product Owner on existing plans for Centralised Translations in the domain of clinical trial applications
• Mature existing opportunities for further extension of scope, to cover more submission use cases and other needs for GxP compliant translations
• Investigate and grow ideas for increasing the scalability of the translation process, e.g. by more use of technology
• Building a culture within the team, characterized by curiosity, passion, openness, and psychological safety
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you need the following:
• University degree within Science, Engineering and/or Business.
• Several years of experience from a similar role.
• Strong understanding of user-centric digital product development.
• Proven informal leadership experience of driving sustainable change in cross-functional, multi-cultural and cross-geographical environment.
• +2 years’ experience in Agile methodologies.
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with Clinical Trials or Regulatory processes between HQ and affiliates or related in the pharma domain is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.On a personal level, you need to inspire passion and create a feeling of ownership for people you work with. You see the big picture and can turn the strategic priorities into tangible direction for the team. You can set clear direction, prioritise, and communicate a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organisation.
About the department
The Digital Product and Project Office is part of Digital Transformation in the Submissions & Life Cycle Management (SubLCM) area in Novo Nordisk’s Development organisation. We are a team of approximately 15 skilled project and product managers with backgrounds from different industries, and/or consultancies. Together, we are responsible for agile product management and cross-organisational projects in the SubLCM organisation of approximately 1200 employees as well as colleagues across the broader Novo Nordisk organisation including affiliates around the world.
