Reporting to the VP of Customer Engagement & Experience, the role sits in Digital Media Excellence and is responsible for designing digital media strategies, ensuring data unity and governance, scaling and elevating our offshore media execution team, and maturing digital media capabilities across the organization. All with a focus on enabling global teams, regions & markets to evolve their future engagement models and become industry-leading in the field of digital media.Key Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for creating digital media strategies that respond to the business objectives of selected global teams and regions & markets using a data-driven mindset. You will act as a subject matter expert within paid media and have a strong focus on Google and YouTube (paid and organic).
• You will be responsible for setting the direction of our Google portfolio in our internal media execution setup based in Bangalore, India, including co-hiring new members to a growing team. Your role will be to create an industry-leading service offering and ensure consistently high performance through strong processes.
• You will ensure tracking, reporting, and website analytics support the objectives and KPIs.
• You will also take our best practices and develop them into global/local guidance material to educate and elevate your colleagues across the organization.
• Acting as a superuser of digital media platforms for the purposes of planning, executing, and measuring campaigns. i.e. Media tool, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads as well as SEO tools like SEMrush, SimilarWeb, etc.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a strategic, analytical, and commercial mindset with strong digital knowledge – preferably with a specialist & and hands-on background in one or more digital disciplines – but especially within Google. You possess a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and know how the different touchpoints play a role in the customer experience. Additionally, you feel comfortable advising on how to optimize media investments and enable digital media capabilities with global and local commercial teams for them to drive stronger business impact. You have proven hands-on experience with planning successful marketing campaigns across social media platforms, email marketing, SEO / SEM, and display advertising on 3rd party websites. In addition, you have successfully worked with designing and rolling out strategic media guidance including technical infrastructure, process, data flow, and governance.To succeed in the role, you
• Hold a relevant master’s degree (business, media, marketing, communications, or similar
• Have at least 7 years of relevant experience, in particular within digital media (i.e. Google, social media, paid media, email, web, and related analytics).
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial, but candidates with a background in media agencies or other industries with media experience are also encouraged to apply
• Have excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure good collaboration with HQ, International Operations, North Americas, Regions, and Markets
• Are fluent in both spoken and written English Please note that this position requires on-site presence, which means that fully remote work is not possible if you are based abroad. About the department
