The Position As the Director of Strategy & IT Quality, you will play a dual role in leading the area’s long and near-term strategic initiative and IT quality processes to ensure they align with the overall corporate strategy. These initiatives and processes include prioritisation framework, capacity management, enhancing efficiencies in our operating model, strategic initiatives anchored in Strategy 2 Action and ODP and leading strong quality support to digital transformation/IT projects across R&D Your key responsibilities include: In collaboration with the R&DQ CVP and Leadership team, lead the development and execution of the R&D Quality's strategic initiatives and priorities. Lead a highly specialised team, accountable for development of IT quality standards and processes. Leading strong quality support to digital transformation/IT projects across R&D. Bring synergy across all the teams in R&DQ to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Act as a strategic advisor to the Corporate Vice President and R&D Quality leadership team, offering data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Lead strong quality support to digital transformation/IT projects across R&D. Collaborate with relevant departments across the Research and Development organization, aligning with their needs and requirements. In this role, you will be based in Søborg, near Copenhagen and report to the Corporate Vice President of R&D Quality. We are looking for candidates with both experience from working with strategic tasks and at the same time has experience from pharma R&D or similar. Qualifications To excel in this role, we anticipate that you bring: An Enterprise Value mindset. Master’s degree in Business Management, Strategy, Life Sciences and similar relevant fields. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, preferably in a similar role including strategic consulting. Expertise within quality assurance and solid knowledge of GxP, pharmacovigilance and other relevant regulations. Strong business acumen. Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. On a personal level, you bring excellent communication skills and are recognized as a leader who excels in driving change and innovation. Furthermore, your experience includes proficiently managing key stakeholders, demonstrating a proactive approach, and presenting yourself as a solution-oriented individual with a strategic mindset, embodying the qualities of a team player. About the Department R&D Quality is a growing, dynamic area with responsibility for assuring quality across both the Research and Early Development and Development organisation. We are approximately 125 dedicated colleagues divided into 5 different areas, R&D Quality Operations, Clinical Quality, Strategy & IT Quality, R&D Quality GBS and DDS Quality.
