Welcome to a specialised and innovative department
Ferrosan Medical Devices develops haemostatic products that are used worldwide to minimise bleeding during surgeries. Our products help save lives, and now you get to play an important part in the development and manufacturing of these products. Joining us at our HQ in Søborg, where you will be leading the External Engineering team, you will be part of our Technology Innovation department, consisting of 21 highly specialised colleagues, where you will be referring to the Director of Technology Innovation.
Our responsibility is to transfer product requirements into specific equipment and process requirements. We ensure sourcing of equipment from suppliers and are responsible for specification, qualification, validation, process transfer and ramp-up/optimisation, whether it takes place internally or externally. We work within a range of areas, including gelatine processing, moulding of components, kitting, blister packaging, sterilisation, finished goods packaging etc.
The position
This is a newly established position, where you, together with the manager heading the internal engineering team and the department Director, will lead the Technology Innovation unit and its approximately 21 highly skilled colleagues.
As Manager for TI External Engineering team your job will lead approximately 8-12 of the dedicated academics, who are allocated to varies development and capacity expansion projects, taking place at our CMOs and suppliers.

- Support employees through sparring and decision making.
- Take lead on problem solving and removal of roadblocks when needed.
- Follow-up on urgent deliverances.

Qualifications
Ideally you have experience from a similar position in the medical device industry.
Other relevant qualifications are:
• Hold a degree Engineering, Business, Natural Sciences, or other relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience with people management. Either as a project manager or a line manager.
• Experience with and understanding of GMP.
• Experience with specifying manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with the design control disciplines.
