The position As Global HEOR Lead, you will lead HEOR planning for multiple assets and indications within the Liver pipeline. You will use data-driven evidence and insights to focus on clinical and economic benefits, driving business opportunities and achieving optimal access regionally and locally. In your role, you will have a high degree of commercial impact, with an expectation of developing HEOR evidence that will set strategic direction and drive business decisions. This role requires innovative and breakthrough thinking. Payers now have high standards for accessing new and improved treatments, making high-quality health economic analyses of clinical data more important than ever. The job is a temporary position until 31 Dec 2024. However, there is potential for a permanent position to open up in the future due to the growth of the area. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Guide in the initiation, development, and implementation of HEOR strategies and plans for Liver pipeline assets for both lead and Life Cycle Management (LCM) indications
  • Represent the OSCD market access team in cross-functional project teams and governance to ensure HEOR input for key project decisions
  • Lead evidence generation, including HE model development, economic evaluation, cost and health-related quality-of-life assessments, and indirect treatment comparisons
  • Provide evidence from Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to validate the value proposition of a new product
  • Contribute to study design, analytical plans, data collection plans, analysis and interpretation of research findings
  • Qualifications We are looking for an individual with a Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field who has a minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy in the field of health economics or outcomes research covering all stages of the product lifecycle from pipeline to LCM. To succeed in the role, you have
  • Proven success with health economic modelling and analysis of health outcomes data
  • Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic planning
  • Familiarity with reimbursement/HTA processes across key markets
  • Ability to establish and lead strong relations with the stakeholders across different regions and departments.
  • Recognised payer interaction and market access experience across key geographies
  • Familiarity with the therapeutic areas of cardiovascular and chronic kidney disease would be beneficial.
  • You possess exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, a solid grasp of commercial concepts, and a strong drive to succeed and work autonomously. It comes naturally for you to identify new and innovative approaches when driving projects and deliverables related to our assets. About the department The OSCD Market Access team sets the payer-facing direction for Novo Nordisk’s future drug portfolio within the Other Serious Chronic Diseases (OSCD) franchise: cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and NASH/liver disease. As such, the team provides strategic input to the value strategy and payer requirements for our pipeline products across the franchise.
