Project Controller in Local Manufacturing Are you passionate about project controlling and financial management? Then you might be the perfect fit for our team as a Project Controller. The position The project portfolio in Local Manufacturing (LM) is growing. Site expansions of our LM facilities and new Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) partnerships are in the project pipeline. Which entails centralized Project Controlling role in our Project Management Office (PMO) in LM where you will work together with the Senior Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, QA, and Project Management Team. You also apply certain level of flexibility as some of your colleagues and CMOs are spread globally. As project controller, you will be responsible for several important project functions. Your main responsibility will be controlling our budget including:
  • Maintaining, developing, monitoring, and executing cost controls in close collaboration with your stakeholders
  • Managing costs related to schedule, project resources, progress reporting, and forecasting, all tied to risk management.
    • Qualifications To excel in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
  • Master's degree in finance (or equivalent) with a solid understanding of accounting and finance.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis, business controlling, or other finance disciplines.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in PC-tools, extensive knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
    • As a person, you are proactive, service-minded, and have a can-do attitude. You are structured and able to work independently across a broad stakeholder landscape. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships are essential. Your structured approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while paying attention to detail. You are adaptable to changing circumstances and project requirements. About the Department The Local Manufacturing (LM) department is part of Novo Nordisk's Product Supply organization and consists of approximately 800 employees. Our primary role is to establish and operate manufacturing sites in countries where local presence is required for market access. We have a global presence in countries such as Japan, South Africa, Russia, Belarus, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria. The physical location for this position is expected to be our Danish office in Søborg. However, there will also be an option to work from other locations in a virtual setting when needed.
