The position You will support the Regulatory Affairs Policy and Intelligence team in day-to-day business processes and tasks. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment working with a small and very experienced team with diverse backgrounds. As our Student Assistant you will be responsible for monitoring changes to regulatory requirements in Denmark, the European Union and at the global level. Some of your main tasks will include:
  • Identifying and checking relevant websites for updates
  • Selecting updates that are relevant for Novo Nordisk Global Regulatory Affairs and producing a report on that basis
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks that can be targeted desk research to address strategic questions
  • Performing analyses and assist with the planning of activities
  • Practicalities:
  • 8 hours per week
  • Start date: 1 May 2024
  • A Danish work permit is required
  • Qualifications We are looking for a Student with a passion for medicines, in particular how new medicinal products, drug-device combination products and medical devices are developed and regulated. You are studying for a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Drug design, Drug technology, or other Life sciences. To succeed in this role, you need to have:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to show initiative, independence, attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Danish
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Additionally, you have an analytic mind-set and the ability to handle a larger volume of information and transform it into structured overviews. And finally, you have a flair of what is politically and commercially relevant. About the department In the department Regulatory Affairs Policy & Intelligence we support the Novo Nordisk Global Regulatory Affairs organisation with updates on new and upcoming regulatory requirements. Together with a network of regulatory colleagues in the Novo Nordisk country affiliates, we monitor new and developing regulations that are published by the medicine agencies across the world. On this basis, we identify and assess emerging regulatory trends and issues that could be important to the products Novo Nordisk has in the development pipeline or on the market, and therefore affect the patients we service now or in the future. We work with the Novo Nordisk Global Regulatory Affairs organisation providing updates and trainings on new requirements and more in-depth analyses when required. We are a hybrid team based in Søborg, Istanbul, Bangalore, Tianjin, and Washington DC.
