Team and role
You will join a team of space sensor systems and projects with our department of Space Systems in TERMA, that provide all our in-flight products. As part of our in-flight sensor systems team, you will take on key responsibilities of the embedded software development in our products, as well as system engineering activities to ensure our development meets the customer requirements and mission objectives. Our team provides customized solutions specific for mission requirements as well as maintenance and R&D for our star tracker product lines.
Your responsibilities will cover
In the role as software and System Engineer, you will maintain and develop our in-flight software and enhance our tools for system analysis and validation to ensure the products are fully functioning in the in-orbit environment. Our products are complex with many challenging areas and technologies that require an analytical mindset and skills in system modeling, simulation, and analysis. You will take on responsibility for the delivery of products both internally and to the customers and ensuring correctness, completeness and compliance to the applicable user requirements and needs.
Qualifications
You have a relevant academic education in software or electrical engineering, math, physics, or related technical discipline - or equivalent work experience.

- Lead developer for in-house and external software deliveries.
- Responsibility for the validation of our products using computational models and statistical analyses.
- Technical responsibility and customer engagement for deliverables.
- Coordinate with your colleagues within all engineering domains to ensure a complete and coherent solution to meet customer requirements and needs.

- Experience working with real-time embedded software in C/C++.
- Skilled in system modeling and simulation in tools like Matlab, Python and/or similar.
- Skilled in engineering statistics, working with probability distributions and regression analysis.
- Ability to attend to details and at the same time mastering the context within holistic system.
- Quality oriented and appreciates the effort in technical documentation.
- Values correctness, completeness and compliance to the applicable user requirements and needs.
