Apply your legal knowledge and experience

The role as General Counsel in Ferrosan Medical Devices is a versatile role where you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization giving legal advice on numerous different legal fields. You will especially have a close collaboration with our Supply Chain Management department securing a high level of quality in the contracts that we enter. This is a great opportunity for you to apply your legal knowledge and experience, transforming rules and regulations into actions and down-to-earth advice to stakeholders with no legal background. You will report to the Group CFO.

Your role

In the role as our General Counsel, you will be able to apply your knowledge and experience from various legal disciplines into a language that your colleagues can easily understand. It is a role that requires you to be proactive and in continuous dialogue with your stakeholders. Your main areas will be:

  • Contracts – negotiation, drafting, assessment
  • Support to your colleagues responsible for contracts
  • GDPR – compliance setup and control
  • Transfer pricing – rules and guidelines
  • Trademarks – protection, renewal, and strategy
  • General legal support
  • Experience or knowledge about Risma is considered a plus

About you

You have some experience with the above-mentioned legal areas, +5 years of experience probably from a law firm or an in-house legal position. Other than this, you:

  • Are independent and responsible as a person and enjoy your autonomy, knowing that you can always get advice or discuss issues with your leader and external advisors
  • Are a strong communicator and find it easy to explain complex matters
  • Have a positive approach, and you can use your sound judgement and good ethics to take the right decisions
  • Have strong analytical skills and apply these persistently to achieve our goals
  • Are results-oriented and aim to keep deadlines with high level of quality
  • Are fluent in English in both writing and speech

Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and produces a portfolio of medical devices used in surgical care. Our portfolio consists of various hemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. We are an international company with products registered in more than 100 countries. Our products are marketed in collaboration with global medtech partners. New ideas are developed and matured from the first thought to finished implementation in production. And we manage the business with an uncompromising focus on quality based on current GMP requirements.
