Global Talent Development Lead for Haldor Topsøe
Topsoe offers you a great opportunity to join an organization in the midst of an ambitious business and cultural transformation. In your role as Global Talent Development Lead, you lead the work of building world class development opportunities for Topsoe’s talents and help drive a high performance organization. Your work is imperative and support Topsoe’s ambition to be recognized as the global leader in carbon emission reduction technologies by 2024.
You work out of Topsoe’s Global Headquarters in Lyngby, and though being a Global role, your travelling will be limited to a few days yearly, but of course with some flexibility in connection with training sessions and talent programs. You report to the Global Head of People & Leadership Development, with whom you collaborate closely as well as with your experienced colleague in the team.
Take Talent Development programs to the next level
As Global Development Lead, you are responsible for taking talent development programs to the next level and are expected to take on different roles in the process – from design, training to fascilitation.
It is not often, you get the opportunity to create a new Talent approach – not from scratch, but in an organization that wants to do things a bit differently. Therefore, Topsoe wants you to make your unique contribution in programs targeting Graduates, High Potential Specialists, and High Potential Managers.
The programs require that you create a new portfolio of trainings and programs that in the short- and long term are directed towards supporting the business strategy and growth. It is possible to develop original new designs, and not only altering existing designs. Initially, your role focuses on development of talents across specialist and management levels, by developing programmes for creating a high-performance culture. Later, when the platform for talent management has been developed, with concrete programmes, your role evolves into also including training, facilitation, and a broader scope.
You have a nose for creating talent programs that support and grow business
We believe that you have an ambition to be recognized as a thought leader within talent management and as one, who can independently drive the talent management agenda. It requires you to be proactive and responsible and understand the necessity of being a team player, and you are of course pragmatic and understand how to get things done in time with focus, speed and agility. In your work, you like to work with both conceptual design, hands-on development and execution. Thinking analytically, providing solutions in a structured and convincing manner as well as navigating in an international company with many stakeholders comes natural to you. - A minimum of 8 years’ experience working with people development initiatives, and among these, talent development programs.
- Experience from a Nordic or international context that has offered cultural nuances.
- Excellence in combining different didactical methods when designing talent programs.
- Master’s degree from the University, in HRM or a related area.
- A keen business understanding gained from your various work experience
- Preferably experience from having lived, worked or studied abroad.
- English fluently, verbally and in writing.
