Due to the continued expansion of Merck in Denmark, they now have an exciting and ambitious opportunity in Merck Denmark as a Health Economist in the Market Access Team.
You will be part of a very exciting and dynamic Merck transition, where your expertise in Health Economic analyses and communication will be of outmost importance to ensure successful value assessments.
You will have an important Health Economic role in cross functional, patient focused teams in Denmark. Your success depends on your ability to involve external and internal resources to ensure progress and communication of Merck value in highly complex projects.

Your main tasks are:
You have experience from a similar role from the pharmaceutical industry, the Danish Medicines Council, Amgros or the Danish Regions. Most important, is your extensive network among the national and regional decision makers, where you engage and involve your peers both internally and externally to create the best possible patient outcomes in Denmark. You have a strong understanding of Danish Market Access, pricing, and healthcare processes including reimbursement processes.
You have a Master’s Degree in Health Economics, Public Health Science or similar.
As a person, you are open-minded, curious, and pro-active. You can work independently and function well in a team. You see opportunities instead of limitations, and you have a high level of resilience and drive. You are driven and possess strong communication skills and are able to build strong relations both internally and externally.

- Lead, develop, and execute Health Economic communication to be used in payer dialogue Regionally and Nationally
- Ensure timely input for QALY Assessments, DMC requirements in Registries, create input to RWE, and ensure the Economic Outcomes to internal and external stakeholders
- Map, develop, and execute on Health Economic activities
- Develop relevant Health Economic models to be used in reimbursement applications
- Adapt Global Economic Models to fit in a Danish context
