IT Vendor Specialist to Bang & Olufsen

IT Vendor Management is critical for B&O to continue effective oversight of their IT Vendors. B&O has been on a journey to create a structured and professional framework for their suppliers and contract management in IT. Today, they are in a position, where IT contracts are maintained, and they have regular dialogues with key vendors and monthly they follow up on performance and invoicing. IT Vendor Management’s efforts have resulted in significant savings, cost avoidance, and a much stronger collaboration with their vendors. Now, IT Vendor Management is ready to take the next step towards excellence, and where you can play a pivotal role.
As IT Vendor Specialist, you can work out of B&O’s office in either Lyngby or Struer and will report to the Head of IT Operations & Application Maintenance.
Your Job
In your role as IT Vendor Specialist, you will secure and expand the continuous effort of overseeing vendors with regards to agreed deliveries, consolidations, and cost. As B&O’s link between internal stakeholders and vendors, you will have an important role in securing win-win, and that B&O offers their vendors the best conditions to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:

Bang & Olufsen Group IT includes all classic IT functions from Infrastructure to Business Applications and Enterprise Data Warehouse. There are some functions in-house (30 people), while others are outsourced to strong partners. You will be working with a colleague in IT Vendor & License Management, as well as collaborate regularly with Indirect Procurement and Legal.

Your Job
In your role as IT Vendor Specialist, you will secure and expand the continuous effort of overseeing vendors with regards to agreed deliveries, consolidations, and cost. Your responsibilities will include:
- Effective governance of key IT vendors.
- Build effective processes in relation to IT Vendor Management.
- Administrative control relating to vendors, including purchase orders, invoicing, and budget control.
- Build a comprehensive Contract Lifecycle Management process and system to support.
- Be subject matter expert for all IT vendor/partner queries.
- Establish effective collaboration as a support function to both colleagues in IT and Line of Business.
- Identify and grow vendors who can support B&O’s continuous spend optimization and growth.
Your Profile

You are comfortable working with deadlines and deliverables and understand that not everything is set in stone, and that you need to be proactive and take responsibility. - Good experience working within IT Vendor Management or a relevant Procurement area. Alternatively, you have experience with Service Delivery Management.
- Education from IT, business, or procurement.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow products.
- Expertise with ITIL, project management and procurement frameworks.
