Workplace VL Staal a/s, Denmark or Beirens, France
Quality conscious Senior Structural Calculation Engineer for market leading industrial chimney manufacturer
Do you want supervisory and management responsibility of the calculation engineers in an executive position at both Danish company VL Staal a/s and French sister company Beirens in the Poujoulat Heating and Power Division? Can you validate the calculation methodology and participate in the design of construction installations globally? Then you could be the Senior Structural Calculation Engineer at the heart of this international group of companies, based in either Denmark or France.
As Senior Structural Calculation Engineer for both Beirens in France and VL Staal in Denmark you will supervise structural calculation at both sites and ensure compliance with European regulations. Furthermore, you will define and validate the calculation methodologies, be responsible for the planning and quality of deliverables, and carry out piloting studies. In this executive position you will supervise a team of technicians and engineers in both Denmark and France, and your base will depend on your geographical origin and preference.

Natural authority and professional skills
You have a mechanical or general engineering background with a focus on mechanics and at least five years of experience in a steel structure design office. You are fluent in English and German, and knowledge of French would be a benefit. Through your natural authority and professional skills, you instill respect and credibility around you. You are a capable and results-oriented planner and organizer with solid human qualities and entrepreneurial skills.
With your enthusiasm and energy, you will join two development-oriented and highly specialized organizations in an international group of companies. This international position involves regular travel between sites to supervise, assess and train the teams in both Denmark and France.
