The plant in Tønder, is changing from being a part of the Benteler group to an independent company. In this transition, the factory is looking to strengthen its setup and internal competences.
The job
We are looking for a purchaser (indirect materials) that can make sure, that the factory always has what it needs to function in the everyday business. The factory is becoming independent, however the agreed contracts with suppliers will still be applicable in the near future.
This is a new position at the company, so the first part of the job will be to get an overview of the present supplier setup and processes. The responsibilities in the job will include but not limited to;

- Search new suppliers based on internal customers´requests
- Negotiate and regulary re-negotiate prices, terms and other conditions with suppliers
- Organise tenders, regular audits and supplier evaluations if necessary
- Responsible for everyday communication with suppliers
- Carry out contract management, incl. contract data maintenance
- Surveil the local procurement markets, define relevant trends/developments
- Carry out request for Quotations, Bid Analysis and supplier recommendations
- Execute supplier visits/audits together with Quality Team
- Participate in cost analysis activities
- Troubleshoot – support technical and time-critical ad-hoc requests/requirements
- Develop and update templates, tools and standards for responsible process
The candidate
We are looking for a candidate, that can take ownership of the in-direct materials. A candidate that thrives in a dynamic environment, where you will be a key person at the plant.
Other than that, we are looking for someone who;
- Have minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in purchasing, preferably – in production companies
- Have a proven experience working with ERP
- Have an advanced Danish and English, spoken and written, German will be an advantage
- Have a good technical understanding (technical education will be an advantage)
- Have good communication skills, customer-oriented and willing to help
